Within the last one year of inception, HPAUL has worked closely with, and gained recognition of, relevant government departments, civil society organizations, development partners other major stakeholders involved in promotion of hydropower subsector in Uganda.
Notable among them are the Germany International Organisation for Development (GIZ), World Wide Fund for Nature – Uganda Country Office (WWF-UCO) and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD).
We also have a strategic with Uganda Electricity Generation Company Ltd (UEGCL), the Renewable Energy Business Incubator (REBi) and the Centre for Research in Energy and Energy Conservation (CREEC).
HPAUL is a member of the Uganda National Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Alliance (UNREEEA), a national umbrella organisation of renewable energy and energy efficiency associations in the country.
We are currently in search of more strategic partners to support the Association’s 5-Year Strategic Plan. Private developers and interested organisations can also join our vibrant Membership Base.
